Heartwood Animal Hospital has 3 USDA certified veterinarians trained to help you with your dog or cat’s health certificate. We can assist in either domestic travel within the United States or International travel. For travel within the states, the exam by one of our veterinarians will need to be performed within 10 days of travel. For international health certificates, please call us as soon as you know that you are traveling as it can sometimes take over 6 months worth of planning in order to facilitate all the required paperwork, vaccinations, and testing. It is also very important to check with your airlines for specific requirements that they may have for travel, as each airline can be different.
